Original Cast Set to Return for Kick-Ass 2; Comic Book Creator Spills Details
When it was announced that Kick-Ass 2 was finally moving forward with new director Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf) replacing too-busy-to-return Matthew Vaughn, the news also came with the reveal that the original installment's cast (Chloë Grace Moretz, Aaron Johnson, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse) would have to work out new deals with Universal (Lionsgate released the first Kick-Ass). This led to speculation that some of the original cast might not appear in the sequel, though, considering how well the cast has spoken of the original in the intervening years, it seemed unlikely. Not to worry, the cast

Rise of the Planet of the Apes and X-Men: First Class Sequels Get Release Dates; Thor 2 Moves Back a Week
Twentieth Century Fox likely surprised itself last summer by creating not one but two prequel franchises. Considering the popularity of the X-Men franchise, the studio probably expected that X-Men: First Class would perform well enough to illicit a sequel (the studio backed a pretty extensive marketing campaign in hopes). However, the studio probably didn't expect Planet of the Apes prequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes to earn $481 million worldwide. Unsurprisingly, Fox CEO Tom Rothman announced sequels last November and the studio is pressing forward, scheduling both sequels for summer 2014

Justin Bieber Gets Knocked Out; Kim and Kanye Moving In Together; You'll Never Look at Matthew Fox the Same
ReelzChannel Celebrity Rundown
Justin Bieber can take down a paparazzo but not a glass wall. Between songs during a concert in Paris, the Biebs ran into a wall of glass. A disoriented Bieber went back on stage and finished his set, but then passed out cold for 15 seconds as he walked to his dressing room, reports TMZ. Thankfully, a doctor said though Bieber suffered a concussion he'll be fine. Apparently, Bieber has an issue with glass surfaces. In 2012, Bieber walked into a glass revolving door. Maybe he just got distracted by his own reflection?

New Trailer for David Koepp's Premium Rush Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt
After Columbia Pictures pushed back the release of writer-director David Koepp's (Ghost Town) new bicycle messenger thriller, Premium Rush, from January to August — presumably, in an attempt to garnish a boost from headliner Joseph Gordon-Levitt's appearance in The Dark Knight Rises, which opens in July — the studio pretty much put the kibosh on the marketing campaign for the movie. Now that we're into the summer movie season, it looks like it's time to catch up with Wilee (Gordon-Levitt) once again, starting with a new trailer that ups the tempo, putting the focus more on the ex

Intense New Trailer for Red Lights Starring Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver and Robert De Niro
Just one day after Millennium Entertainment released a series of four character posters for the upcoming psychological thriller Red Lights, the studio has released an intense new trailer for the movie. Described by Spanish writer-director Rodrigo Cortés (Buried) as a movie about "how the brain does not give a true picture of reality," Red Lights stars Cillian Murphy and Sigourney Weaver as paranormal researchers dedicated to exposing fakes. The duo meet their match, however, when they try to debunk the abilities of a world-renowned psychic (Robert De Niro) who has been absent from the pub

Theatrical Trailer for The Bourne Legacy Starring Jeremy Renner and Edward Norton
"You think that Jason Bourne was the whole story? There's a lot more going on here."
The first full-length trailer for The Bourne Legacy has finally been released online and it contains enough references to rogue Treadstone operative Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) that casual moviegoers will know that this movie is not a reboot of, but a continuation of, the previous Bourne movies. It also promises that there are plenty of surprises in store for even the die-hard fans of the series.
When Bourne said that he was no longer "Jason Bourne" at the end of The Bourne Ultimatum, he apparently meant i

The Wachowski's Jupiter Ascending to Be a Trilogy Starring Mila Kunis & Channing Tatum
After revolutionizing the sci-fi genre with The Matrix in 1999, everyone expected that Andy and Lana Wachowski would build a movie legacy to rival the likes of visionary filmmakers George Lucas or Steven Spielberg. But the diminishing quality of the two Matrix sequels and the mediocre (V For Vendetta) and truly dismal (Speed Racer) adaptations that followed left many wondering whether the siblings were already spent.
To top The Matrix may be an insurmountable task, but that doesn't mean that the Wachowskis are going to stop trying. The duo is currently in post-production on Cloud Atlas, an

Marvel's Kevin Feige Reveals Who the Villain Won't Be in Thor 2 and Talks "Spectacle" of Iron Man 3; Iron Patriot Armor Confirmed
With The Avengers currently breaking box office records, Marvel Studios is moving forward with its 2013 follow-ups: Iron Man 3 and Thor 2. While the former is currently in production, Thor 2 won't start shooting until later this summer under the direction of Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones). Unlike the first installment, Marvel president Kevin Feige told Empire (via Collider) that the sequel will further explore the Norse gods' world of Asgard.
We?re going to see the other side of Asgard. It?s not all polished and golden in this film. And the events of Avengers will have affected Thor for

New Prometheus Featurette Focuses on the Spaceship and Space Travel
Despite how many sci-fi TV shows and movies there have been, very few of them have generated memorable spaceships. That most casual moviegoers can identify the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars and the USS Enterprise from Star Trek but only cinephiles will remember the Valley Forge from Silent Running or the USS Cygnus from The Black Hole is a testament to just how difficult they must be to design.
Why "spaceships are very hard not to make cliché" is the topic of the latest featurette promoting the upcoming Prometheus. Director Ridley Scott, writer Damon Lindelof (Cowboys and Aliens), and t

Simon Pegg Says Khan Won't Be the Villain in Star Trek 2
Since Paramount released director J.J. Abrams's 2009 reboot of the beloved Star Trek franchise, fans have been anxiously awaiting Star Trek 2 (working title). While there's still nearly a year before the sequel arrives in theaters, production on Star Trek 2 has finished, which means audiences are one step closer to seeing the movie.
"We wrapped last week, and it?s going to be awesome," said Simon Pegg recently at the Hero Complex Film Festival (via IFC). There's precious few details available about the sequel, which likely explains why Pegg later joked: "It all starts on the Enterprise. K

Ridley Scott Wants Harrison Ford for Blade Runner Sequel
Good news, Harrison Ford fans! Though the odds of the sci-fi and action-adventure movie icon appearing in the Star Wars TV series that is in development are virtually zero, and the stories of his involvement in Indiana Jones 5 are "all just rumors" at this point, Ford could be reprising one of the genre roles that helped make him famous: police officer Rick Deckard in director Ridley Scott's sequel to his 1982 sci-fi classic, Blade Runner.
Despite the fact that co-producer Andrew Kosove last year called the new Blade Runner movie a "total reinvention" and said as recently as February th

Daniel Radcliffe Wants to Star in a Superhero Movie
As the actor who played the central character in Warner Bros. Pictures' massive, eight-movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling's best-selling Harry Potter book series, Daniel Radcliffe has helped the studio rake in nearly $8 billion in ticket sales and another $7 billion in home video sales and related merchandise.Surely that amount of money has earned Radcliffe no small amount of goodwill with Warners, but has it earned him enough for the studio to let him take a stab at one of their coveted superhero roles? In a recent interview, the former "boy wizard" revealed that he wants to star in a superher

Up until now, the most we?ve seen from the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer?s novel The Host has been a couple movie stills and a teaser trailer that was void of any actual footage from the movie, but now we have our first look at The Host, courtesy of MTV News.
The clip includes short interviews with Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, and Meyer herself, where she talks about a "cave scene," from what we have gathered is a critical part in the movie. Fans of the book will know the reference. If you haven?t read the book, like us, here?s a helpful synopsis:

New Clip from Brad Pitt's Killing Them Softly
When it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Brad Pitt?s Killing Them Softly got a 10-minute standing ovation. Well, now we get somewhat of an idea of why everyone was applauding.
In the clip, we learn where the title of the movie comes from (the movie is actually based on the novel Cogan's Trade by George V. Higgins). Pitt?s character, Jack Cogan, talking to Richard Jenkins, says he likes to kill his victims softly, ?from a distance, not close enough for feelings.? The two then to proceed to bargain over the cost of hiring a hitman. Cogan is an enforcer hired to track down three
