A Year In The Merde
Working in a rather English speaking universe I was many times tempted to read this "bijou" which has been a best seller. A credit card at WH Smith later I'm ready to have fun. I decently can't refuse France via the eyes of Paul West, a British 28 year old man who comes to work in my country for one year. Yesterday I opened the treasure box and found some drawings Aslan did for my father in the 70'S. Alain Aslan's well known for his pin up.Note that the muse's the drawer's wife. A Prayer For Owen Meany
I began reading John Irving with "A widow for one year" that I stole to My English Patient and I enjoyed very much.Last Sunday I finished "A prayer for Owen Meany" and it's the best story I've ever read.It took me one or two sections to understand Irving's style but I read the end of the book in one marathon reading session. I spend my entire Sunday afternoon reading because I knew that more revelations were in store.
